The Reference Library includes a link to Scribner Writers which could be a resource for author backgrounds or supplemental information on some of the readings. There is also a section on Professional resources which includes recommended websites, conferences and other useful resources. No password is needed; access from home is also an option. |

Selected picture books were recommended by a former teacher and librarian who serves as director of BookPALS, a community outreach program of the Screen Actors' Guild, dedicated to reading stories to youngsters in schools.
