Good evening, Bethesda Parents! This is Principal Moore-Lawrence with the Principal's Weekly Spotlight for the Week of May 20th-May 24th. This week’s quote is “Nobody can do everything but everyone can do something.” This month’s character trait is perseverance. Please listen to the following announcements and reminders about what's happening at Bethesda.
#1 Kindergarten and Fifth Grade Cap and Gown Photos are available for purchase. Please see Mrs. Costoso in the main office to preview and pay for your child’s beautiful pictures.
#2 EOG Week is here. 3rd-5th grade students take the Reading EOG on Tuesday and the Math EOG on Wednesday. This is also Custodian Appreciation Week. Let’s show our custodians that we appreciate how they make our building sparkle.
#3 Does your child start kindergarten in August and you missed last week’s Kindergarten Orientation? If so, contact the school as soon as possible for registration details.
#4 Friday is the end-of-year celebration for ELITE and PEARLS. The Awards Dinner begins at 6:00 and the social follows.
#5 Field Day was a huge success! Thank you for volunteering and sending in healthy snacks and drinks.
#6 Bethesda’s Yearbooks are on sale now for $15. Order your copy before we sell out.
Thank you for listening to this message. Have a great evening!
