Key Questions:

Think about your purpose - what kind of information do you wish to share?

Who is the audience - parents, teachers, students, age of audience?

Content: think about specific information

• Do you want to point to the information or include the information on your web pages?
  
• Collect URLs
  
• Collect a few graphics

Storyboard:

Use index cards or some other type of organizational structure to define what will be on each page. It might be useful to sketch out a diagram, showing how your pages will relate to each other. An example created with Inspiration is shown below:

Specific Content:

Now that you have the pages mapped out, think about specific content to be included on each page.

• Title of Page - What font and size?
  
• Menus to navigate from page to page
  
• Common graphics - source and file name
  
• Text in body of Web page - font and size
  
• Information such as an address or e-mail address, name of school or department, phone number..

Begin Creating Your Pages!

Once the above tasks are complete, it is time to begin work on creating the Web pages.

Stay organized! It will save you a great deal of time in the long run.
