Prerequisites

Workshops or Skills: Basic word processing skills, Internet experience with an understanding of search strategies and Internet terms such as link, hypertext, URL, bookmark, navigation, browser, WWW, download, upload, and source code.

Web Page Evaluation: It is very helpful to view other Web pages to assist you in creating a Web site of your own. Before embarking on the often time consuming task of designing your own Web site, look critically at other sites on the Internet, and look for such elements as ease of navigation, layout, download time, use of images, contact information and usefulness of content. Think about the features that strengthened the Web site so that you can adapt these ideas and possibly build them into a site of your own.
